About

Why I started this site:

I started The Write Girl For The Job, when a class made it mandatory to learn how to publish online. It had opened up a world where I could write stories that mattered, and a way to easily share my creative ideas. I soon added two more websites, each within a different niche. Frugal Frights and Delights, is clearly my favorite, since it’s the most maintained. It allows me to teach others, and showcase my latest ideas for Halloween/seasonal decorating. I find crafting feeds my soul, just as much as writing. So, I gladly share my tutorials, freely. My other blog, Navigating the Blog World, helps some of my clients begin their own social media journey. I teach some lessons in Public Relations, and how it matters for a brand or business.

About Debbie Morrow:

I’ve had an online presence since 2004, and worked for various newspapers, and clients. I’ve sold over 140+ stories to various media outlets. My Ebook, History Restored, is presently being sold on Amazon.com, and can be purchased in hard copy at The Avon Preservation and Historical Society.

I can’t decide which is more satisfying: editing or completing a novel. Either way, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with many fine authors.

Education: Graduating Phi Theta Kappa, I earned an AAS, with a minor in Journalism. My studies continued at Barry University, on full academic scholarship, for just shy of two years. My major was Public Relations, with a minor in Journalism. I returned to N.Y., after a close family member became seriously ill, and completed my BA, at SUNY Empire.

Fast forward years later, and I am pleased to now live in a warmer climate – North Carolina. I still freelance as an Editor/Writer for various companies, and authors. If I am not creating in some fashion, I’m spending my time with family.

I believe everyone has at least one story worth telling. If you have one, and are interested in sharing it in a more concrete way, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
